Malfunction Indicator Lights

Warning lights on your instrument cluster are an indicator of a problem in your vehicles engine or safety systems. We can diagnose the cause of these warning lights on your vehicle and give you an accurate diagnosis of the problem.

  • The check engine light is illuminated when the computer finds a fault for a specified amount of time in the performance or emission system of the engine.

  • The SRS (airbag light) is illuminated when the computer finds a fault in the airbag or seat belt restraint system. When this light is illuminated the air bag system is disabled and your airbags may not deploy during an accident.

  • The ABS light is illuminated when the computer finds a fault in the anti-lock braking system. This light generally means your anti lock braking system will not work during extreme braking.

  • Various other lights are illuminated on numerous vehicles for other faults.

  • It is extremely important to have your vehicle checked if you see any of these indicator lights on to ensure your vehicle is not only safe to drive, but so that you don't cause further damage by driving
